Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Pharmacist based in Alberta, Canada The Assistant Pharmacist will be responsible for supporting licensed pharmacists in dispensing medications, maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, and assisting customers with their prescriptions. The position requires direct communication with customers to address inquiries, provide information, and ensure compliance with health regulations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in pharmacy-related tasks such as preparing medications, labeling, and inventory management
• Strong customer service and communication skills to address inquiries and assist customers effectively
• Attention to detail, organization, and an understanding of health regulations and compliance standards
• Capability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, professional environment
• Relevant certification or diploma in pharmacy or a related field
• Prior experience in a pharmacy setting is a plus
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and operating pharmacy software systems
