Background
Our client, a leading Technical Services provider in the hospitality Industry seeks to recruit Assistant Operations Manager who will be responsible for end-to-end operational excellence across design projects, construction execution, and after-sales kitchen equipment servicing. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, to brand standards, while maintaining high client satisfaction.
Strategic & Business Operations
- Oversee overall operations covering architectural design, fit-out construction, and kitchen equipment servicing.
- Translate client briefs into executable project plans and operational schedules.
- Develop and implement operational policies, SOPs, and performance standards.
- Support business growth by improving efficiency, cost control, and service quality.
Project & Site Management
- Manage multiple concurrent projects in malls and high-traffic locations.
- Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, technicians, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with client brand guidelines (e.g. layout, finishes, equipment standards).
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
- Resolve site challenges and escalations promptly.
- Conduct project progress reviews and post-project evaluations.
- Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met for maintenance and servicing contracts.
Maintenance & Technical Services
- Track response time, turn around time and client satisfaction for on maintenance of kitchen appliances.
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are adhered to.
- Monitor spare parts usage and service quality.
Financial & Commercial Oversight
- Work closely with Finance on budgets, cost controls, and profitability.
- Approve operational expenses within delegated authority.
- Track project margins and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or any other related field.
- Minimum 710 years experience in fit-out, construction, or hospitality projects.
- Strong understanding of mall-based developments and brand-driven projects.
- Proven leadership and multi-project management experience.
