1.Core Responsibilities
- Store-wise Allocation Planning
- Allocate stock to stores based on:
- Store capacity (sqft, fixtures)
- Sales performance
- Location (mall, high street, airport, etc.)
- Ensure depth vs width balance (not overloading or understocking)
2. Sales & Stock Analysis
- Daily / Weekly sale
- Sell-through %
- Stock cover (weeks of inventory)
- Fast-moving styles (replenish quickly)
- Slow-moving styles (push / liquidate)
3. Replenishment Management
- Ensure top-selling SKUs are always available
- Maintain size-wise availability (especially core sizes like M/L/32/34)
- Raise replenishment requests from warehouse or other stores
4.Inter-Store Transfers (IST)
- Move stock from:
- Low-performing stores → High-performing stores
- Reduce dead stock and improve overall productivity
5. Ageing & Dead Stock Control
- Track stock ageing (30 / 60 / 90 days)
Plan -Transfers
- Discounts / markdowns
- Promotions
6.Markdown & Promotion Support
- Suggest discounts based on:
- Sell-through
- Season end
- Support liquidation strategies
7. Size Ratio & Depth Management
- Ensure proper size ratio allocation (e.g., S:M: L: XL)
- Avoid: Missing key sizes
- Excess of non-moving sizes
8. New Store / Seasonal Allocation
- Initial stock planning for:
- New store openings
- Festivals / End of Season Sale (EOSS)
9. Reporting & MIS
- Store-wise stock report
- Sell-through report
- Ageing report
- Ageing stock%
- Full-price sell-through
- Top & bottom styles report
- Allocation tracker
10.Coordination
- Work closely with:
- Warehouse team
- Store managers
- VM (Visual Merchandising) team
- Planning team
Skills Required
Strong Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, basic formulas)
