Assistant Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks based on engineering requirements and concepts.

Prepare manufacturing drawings, including GD&T, tolerances, BOM, and material specifications.

Work closely with stakeholders, project managers, and cross-functional teams to refine designs and ensure manufacturability and compliance with standards.

Update and maintain drawing revisions, documentation, and CAD data management.

Support prototyping, testing, and production by providing accurate technical drawings and resolving design issues.

Demonstrate a hands-on attitude by supporting prototype builds, performing basic assembly checks, and troubleshooting design issues directly on parts or assemblies.

Requirements:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

Good knowledge, ability, and competency in SolidWorks

Good understanding of mechanical design and technical drawings

Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software (SolidWorks)

Detail-oriented with strong technical and problem-solving skills

Good team player with a positive learning attitude
