About the Role

Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for working on GST Compliance and Advisory assignments.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of GST laws, rules, procedures, and recent amendments.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Working proficiency in MS Excel, GST utility tools, and tax technology platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Discussing and addressing client queries
  • Undertaking research on issues raised by clients and discussing with the clients
  • Keeping up to date with the developments under the GST law
  • Preparation/ review of GST returns (monthly/ quarterly)
  • Preparation/ Review of annual GST return and reconciliation statements
  • Assisting in responding to GST related to notices received by the client
  • Filing of refund applications under GST

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountants having 1-2 years of experience in GST compliance and advisory recheck
