Job Description

Job Summary:

This role involves managing and executing complex US valuation assignments, leading a team of analysts, and ensuring high-quality deliverables across multiple valuation engagements. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership capabilities, and experience with ASC standards and business valuations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute and deliver multiple valuation engagements across various industries
  • Plan and allocate work for the valuation team, ensuring timelines and quality
  • Manage and mentor analysts and senior analysts on valuation methodologies and client handling
  • Review and validate all deliverables for quality, accuracy, and compliance
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders regarding valuation findings and project status
  • Write and review complex valuation reports with clear summaries and conclusions
  • Ensure team collaboration and contribute positively to the organizational culture
  • Conduct internal and external training sessions for upskilling and knowledge sharing
  • Provide inputs for hiring, workflow planning, and operational improvements
  • Maintain working knowledge of key valuation topics including:
  • Equity Incentive Awards (ASC 718, IRC 409A)
  • Gift Estate Tax Valuations
  • Business Combinations (ASC 805)
  • Embedded Derivatives (ASC 815)
  • Portfolio Valuations / Fair Value Measurements (ASC 820)
  • Build financial and forecasting models from scratch as required
