Job Title: Assistant Manager – US Accounts

Location: Hitech City, Hyderabad (Work From Office)

Shift: US Shift (Night Shift)

Experience: 5+ Years

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Preferred

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – US Accounts to manage and oversee end-to-end US accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in QuickBooks, US taxation, payroll processing, and the ability to lead accounting functions while coordinating with internal teams and US stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end US accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliations.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Maintain and review financial records in QuickBooks with strong functional expertise.
  • Process and review US payroll, ensuring compliance with federal and multi-state regulations.
  • Support US taxation activities, including W-2, 1099 preparation, filings, and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with HR and Immigration teams for payroll inputs, employee records, onboarding, and compliance.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, MIS reports, and dashboards for management review.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Ensure adherence to US GAAP, internal controls, and audit requirements.
  • Liaise with US clients, vendors, CPAs, and internal stakeholders to resolve accounting and financial queries.
  • Monitor team performance (if applicable) and support process improvements for better efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in US Accounting & Finance.
  • Strong hands-on experience in QuickBooks (mandatory).
  • Good understanding of US taxation, payroll compliance, and multi-state rules.
  • Proven experience in AR, AP, payroll processing, and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in US business hours (night shift).

Certifications (Preferred)

  • QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor
  • EA (Enrolled Agent) or pursuing
  • CPA (US) / Pursuing CPA

Preferred

  • Immediate joiners.
  • Experience working with US CPA firms or accounting service providers.
  • Exposure to team handling or senior-level responsibilities.
