Job Role: Underwriting – EB & Non-EB

Key Responsibilities

• Review client policies, assess risks, identify coverage gaps, and recommend suitable insurance solutions.
• Prepare RFQs, negotiate with insurers, and present accurate quote comparisons.
• Manage policy issuance, quality checks, endorsements, and cancellations.
• Support the sales team in client meetings, pitches, and securing corporate accounts.
• Develop customised insurance solutions across employee benefits and non-EB segments.
• Build strong insurer relationships, including at least two insurer visits weekly, to improve turnaround times and terms.
• Maintain daily RFQ/QC trackers and timely MIS reports; ensure compliance with IRDAI and internal standards.
• Improve processes and contribute to annual premium targets.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate with at least III Licentiate/Associate qualification or an MBA in Insurance, plus BPQ.
• Strong expertise in EB and non-EB underwriting, risk assessment, and RFQ management.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Strong insurer network across India, with leadership and team management abilities.
