Job Description

  • Applied knowledge of ISO 27001 / SOC Controls
  • Provide RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for Technical issues
  • Knowledge of Information and Data Security principles
  • Familiar with ITIL policies and procedures operations
  • Comfortable in ITIL change management submissions and process; experience as a CAB member
  • Expert knowledge of SQL clusters and BCDR
  • Understanding of when to use DTU vs vCore
  • Running daily health checks and ensuring uptime
  • Performing backups and recoveries
  • Applying patches and upgrades
  • Troubleshooting and resolving database issues
  • Documenting and optimizing database processes
  • Collaborating with the internal IT team to ensure a seamless workflow
  • Handling configuration-based, version-based, and policy-based issues
  • Supporting new, changing, and expanding scope
  • Maintaining keys and connectivity to servers and Active Directory (AD)
  • Working on issues related to connectivity to data warehouse
  • Supporting issues related to server performance and scaling
  • Skilled in managing physical and virtual servers in a large environment (typically 100+ servers)
  • Knowledge of ITIL and networking fundamentals
  • Experience in tracking server activity, upgrading software, and addressing technical problems
  • Good documentation skills
