Assistant Manager (Transport)

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementslogisticsbusiness development strategies with the region, directly impactingobjectivesand business results.

• Manages transportation business within the region to meet targets.

• Develops new business based on existing business to improve top line and margins.

• Makes business and managerial decisions to achieve business and financial results.

• Maintains strong relationships with key domestic transport customers within the region.

• Overseeoperations at all sites through site managers/teams.

• Reviews performance and costs periodically.

• Provides senior account management leadership for major Domestic Transport service customers.

• Liaises with authorities asrequired.

• Ensures operating teams meet contractual commitments for service, cost, and reporting.

• Reviews P&L for transport operations and works on achieving targets.
