We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager - Training with a strong background in travel operations and expertise in GDS platforms such as Amadeus and Sabre. The incumbent will be responsible for designing, delivering, and managing training programs to enhance employee knowledge, performance, and service quality. The role involves collaborating with operational teams, identifying training needs, driving performance improvement initiatives, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Training Management

• Design, develop, and deliver onboarding and refresher training programs for travel consultants and operational teams.
• Conduct classroom, virtual, and on-the-job training sessions on travel processes, customer service, and GDS tools.
• Develop training materials, SOPs, user guides, assessments, and learning content.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback surveys, and performance metrics.

GDS & Travel Operations Training

• Provide hands-on training on Amadeus, Sabre, and other GDS platforms.
• Train employees on airline reservations, ticketing, fare construction, reissues, refunds, and travel-related processes.
• Keep training content updated with industry and system changes.
• Act as a subject matter expert for travel operations and GDS-related queries.

Performance Management

• Monitor trainee performance and provide coaching to bridge skill gaps.
• Analyze quality and productivity metrics to identify development opportunities.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and feedback sessions.
• Implement performance improvement plans where necessary.

Team Handling & Stakeholder Management

• Mentor and manage trainers or training coordinators, ensuring effective knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality to align training initiatives with business goals.
• Support employee engagement and continuous learning initiatives.
• Drive a culture of learning, development, and operational excellence.
