Role Description The Assistant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Para, supporting day-to-day operations within the steel manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include supervising routine activities, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards. The role involves monitoring performance metrics, preparing operational reports, and supporting the implementation of process improvements. The Assistant Manager will help manage resources, assist in resolving operational issues, and support training and guidance for team members. This position requires active participation on the shop floor, clear communication with stakeholders, and timely execution of assigned projects and tasks.
Qualifications

• Strong operational and supervisory skills, with the ability to coordinate daily activities and manage workflows in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and quality control practices within industrial or steel environments.
• Competence in data analysis, report preparation, and use of basic office and productivity software for documentation and monitoring.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work in teams, guide staff, and collaborate with multiple departments.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and timely issue resolution.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, industrial management, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, plant operations, or technical services will be considered an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site in Para and comply with all organizational safety and compliance requirements.
