Role Description The Assistant Manager Supply Operations will oversee day-to-day supply planning and execution for vehicle rentals and fleet operations, ensuring adequate availability of two-wheelers to meet business demand. This full-time, on-site role in Chennai involves coordinating with internal teams and external partners to manage inventory, dispatch schedules, and fleet utilization. The role includes monitoring operational performance, resolving supply-related issues, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality. The Assistant Manager will track key metrics, prepare regular reports, support vendor and partner management, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards. The position also involves supporting strategic initiatives in supply operations, training team members, and contributing to continuous improvement across the supply chain.
Qualifications
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, or fleet operations, preferably in mobility, delivery, or 3PL services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with data, track KPIs, and optimize processes.
- Good communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams, vendors, and delivery partners.
- Proven ability to manage day-to-day operations, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with basic productivity tools and operational software; experience with fleet management or logistics systems is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, operations management, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in an assistant manager or supervisory role in operations is beneficial.
- Willingness to work on-site in Chennai and spend time on the ground with operations and partners as needed.
