You will be Supporting the Special Products Group's application engineering team for projects & MRO in AP & KOB1 from Fisher Chennai Engineering Center. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Manage the FCEC team and Co-Ordinate with the Singapore SPG team on day-to-day work.
Team Development & Coaching - Mentorship and guide team members to achieve their full potential through continuous feedback and growth opportunities.
Support the Functional Leader on the team's goals and priorities that are aligned with organizational objectives, driving performance and business outcomes.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment that promotes trust, respect, and employee engagement.
Performance Management - Monitoring the progress of Team members Goals, holding individuals accountable, and rewarding & recognizing their achievements & Performance.
Enhance relationships and networks with senior internal/external partners who are not familiar with the subject often require persuasion.
Understand the Fisher global supplier's capabilities and limitations and guide team members.
Solves complex technical problems exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
Create the monthly reports & calculate team performance and report the same to the Management.
Maintain the team documents for ISO audit process.
Check the quotes to establish error-free quotes being sent to Sales.
Understand Fisher global supplier's capabilities and limitations to evaluate the possibility of manufacturing an Engineered product.
Share technical information in internal training like knowledge sharing secession, Internal SPG Team training and AP industry expertise.
Who You Are:
You have a flare for process improvement and thrive highest quality standard. You quickly and significantly take action in constantly evolving, unexpected situations. You actively seek input from pertinent sources to make timely and well-informed decisions. Works collaboratively with Sales, GSC, PE and Factory personnel to resolve conflicts if it may arise.
For This Role, You Will Need:
In-depth knowledge of control valve products and industry application
Knowledge of Fisher products and accessories would be a plus.
Minimum 10 year of experience in control valve engineering
Good understanding of product specifications and Costing process
Develop and present innovative solutions for problems if they may arise.
Optimizes work processes and improves performance metrics.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Degree in Mechanical/Instrumentation/Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering.
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
