Assistant Manager - Sourcing

Key Responsibilities

The incumbent will perform required functions from initiation of an intent to purchase to satisfactory delivery of material.

Follow an individual work plan and meet day-to-day short-term objectives. The incumbent should have the ability to resolve issues through immediate action or escalations.

Liaison with sourcing organization to evaluate current and anticipated requirements, determine potential sources, and obtain bids.

Should be capable for Vendor Development, Vendor Management and to Negotiate in multiple levels.

Coordinate should know the process of procurement and willingness to follow with the Integrity.

Should be responsible for end-to-end activities like plan, purchase, delivery, Invoice etc.

Should have the knowledge of electrical, electronics and fabrication commodities.

Implement and maintain KPIs like OTD, Inventory Management, Payment Cycle, to monitor and improve performance of managed supply base.

Prepare daily, weekly, monthly analysis reports and status of the jobs/KPI assigned.

Should have strong working experience in SAP for procurement prospective.

Education & Experience: The ideal candidate will be a

Total Experience in years: 7-8 Yrs

Graduation/ Degree: BE / BTech Electronics or Mechanical

Post-Graduation/ PGDM: MBA Operations / Supply chain management (OR) PGDM in Material Management / Procurement

Preferred courses/ certifications: Negotiation skills / Vendor management / Project management
