About the Role: Yours Responsibilities: Mechanical Design and Development support for components and assemblies of laundry appliances from product concept to production using part design and CAD techniques in adherence with BSH & Industry Standards.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing design variations through tolerance analysis and analyzing design feasibility using DFM, DFA, FMEA techniques.
- Releasing the design at different phases of product development process using BSH Engineering Design Release Process.
- Get very well acquainted with the workflow of the BSH design and development department.
- Work in close collaboration with Global Laundry Development Centers for Design & Development activities.
Qualifications:
- Education: BE/ ME in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience: 5-10 year's experience using any CAD software, working on Design & Development of Products and Components, preferred with home appliance industry background.
Required Skills:
- Experience in Design & Development of products and components using CAD tool & PLM tool, preferably in home appliance industry background.
- Experience in plastics and sheetmetal parts design and good knowledge in tooling of plastics and sheetmetal parts.
- Good knowledge in development tools like tolerance analysis, FMEA, 8D is preferred.
- Understanding of Engineering fundamentals, Material properties and Design standards used in home appliances is desired.
- Good knowledge of Product Development process is desired.
- Should be responsible of working individually on topics and working within teams to deliver work.
- Interest in intercultural collaborations to work strongly as a global network is preferred.
