Cash Application & Reconciliation: Allocate receipts daily; clear suspense items; perform bank and control account reconciliations; track aged items and drive timely closure; run/monitor daily bankrecon batches.
Unit & Fund Accounting: Track investment of contributions to selected funds; reconcile unit movements; support unit pricing checks and valuation accuracy; manage lifestyle strategy switches and default fund flows.
MonthEnd Close & MI: Prepare journals for contributions, transfers, investment adjustments, and fees; post accruals/prepayments; review trial balance and variances; deliver MI on contributions, fund performance, member balances, and aged cash.
Benefit Payments & Transfers: Validate retirement (UFPLS/drawdown/annuity aware), transferout/in, refunds and death payments; ensure correct PAYE tax treatment and evidence for HMRC; manage makerchecker approvals and documentation.
Member Communications & Statements: Support annual benefit statements; ensure accurate updates to member online portals; respond to financerelated enquiries and IFA requests with complete charges and fee information.
Compliance & Audit: Operate within The Pensions Regulator (TPR) framework and TPT governance; maintain audit trails and SOPs; provide evidence for audits; monitor charge caps and disclosures; support risk/compliance actions.
Continuous Improvement: Identify RPA/automation opportunities; standardise reconciliations and close checklists; improve controls and productivity; contribute to SOP maintenance and training materials.
