Key Responsibilities:
Scope 3 Measurement
- Own inventory across 15 categories (focus: Purchased Goods, Capital Goods, Upstream & Downstream Transport)
- Deploy supplier surveys for primary energy/fuel data
- Use spend-based & activity-based emission factors (GHG Protocol, India grid)
- Establish baseline & support to meet RE targets
Supplier Decarbonization
- Integrate carbon criteria into supplier selection & QCDD reviews
- Co-create roadmaps with top 20-30 suppliers
- Train suppliers on GHG accounting & renewable energy
OEM Compliance & Reporting
- Meet OEM mandates (MSIL, Tata, Mahindra, VW, Toyota etc.)
- Lead Scope 3 sections for BRSR, annual sustainability report
- Support third-party assurance
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical/Electrical/Environmental)
- Experience: 4–8 years in Sustainability in automotive industry
- Must-have: Hands-on Scope 3 accounting (Purchased Goods) using Excel/LCA tools
