Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed production and supply plans for forming, processing, and subcontracted operations on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis to ensure timely fulfilment of customer demand.
- Coordinate daily with the production team to review production status in line with planning schedules.
- Manage line scheduling to ensure optimal capacity utilization.
- Prepare detailed raw material and tubing planning (both import and domestic) to ensure uninterrupted production operations.
- Perform MRP runs for production and raw material planning in SAP (PP module).
- Work on SAP for PR issuance, stock overview, and BOM requirements.
- Plan, monitor, and control inventory levels across finished goods, semi-finished goods, raw materials, tubing, and packaging materials to ensure optimal stock availability and working capital efficiency.
- Conduct regular aging and valuation analysis to improve inventory turnover and minimize obsolescence.
- Identify inventory gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Confirm dispatch schedules and order confirmations for each sales order in coordination with customers, sales, and customer service teams.
- Provide sales projections and supply performance updates as required.
- Prepare and analyze regular MIS reports on production vs. plan, inventory levels, sales projections, and supply performance.
- Highlight material shortages, vendor delays, and planning deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, Purchase, EXIM, Finance, and Sales teams to ensure smooth execution of supply chain plans.
- Initiate and support QMS-related activities within the SCM function.
- Identify and implement cost-saving projects aligned with supply chain excellence initiatives.
Educational Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Industrial) or equivalent.
- MBA / PGDM in Operations / Supply Chain Management (Preferred).
- 510 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain / Production Planning within a manufacturing environment.
