Job Purpose Description
The Training manager is the custodian of capability building and performance of the 1000+ workforce spread across the country.
1. To build training architecture (Operations managers as Trainers, Building training content and build training processes and dashboards) to deliver on the capability building agenda.
2. To be adept at training delivery, content development and training management. This role requires a unique blend of expertise in Retail Operations and learning & development.
3. To work with Operations, Buying & Merchandising, Product, Visual merchandising, Marketing functions to conceptualize, create and drive relevant performance enhancing initiatives beyond the basic capability building.
4. To identify, evaluate and work with competent vendors to support in executing the learning agenda for the brand/channel
5. superior influencing skills to be able to drive Operations teams and other function as none of them would have a reporting relationship though they are driven by similar business objectives

Developing and maintaining systems to ensure smooth store operations through store checklist 2. Building VM capabilities in store team through MRM/VMI driving VM champ program 3. Maintenance and usage of MST platform for store communications 4. Building and handholding Store Manager as Coaches 5. Conducting development centre for SM and MRM development through classroom training, on the job project and handholding 6. Identify top talent pool of Store Manager and ensure their grooming through dedicated training, projects or stints |
