Assistant Manager – Sales

Location: Calicut, Kerala | Experience: 5–8 Years

Reports to : Head of commercial Marketing

About the Role:

Established Plantations Group of private LTD & Farms is seeking a dynamic sales professional to drive market expansion for its premium fresh produce and specialty coffee portfolio. The role focuses on acquiring and managing high-value B2B clients, including premium retailers, gourmet food businesses, luxury hospitality brands, and specialty coffee buyers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales of premium fresh produce and specialty coffee across target markets.
  • Design, scale, and monitor day-to-day commercial pipelines ensuring that premium polyculture products (Mangosteen, Avocados, Rambutan, Grapefruit) move from the Western Ghats/Ooty estates to target retail shelves and culinary tables within a strict 24-hour window.
  • Develop and manage relationships with high-end retailers, hospitality partners, and specialty coffee roasters.
  • Ensure seamless farm-to-customer delivery through coordination with operations and logistics teams.
  • Conduct product presentations, tastings, buyer meetings, and contract negotiations.
  • Build sales pipelines, generate forecasts, and achieve premium revenue targets.
  • Protect and enhance brand value through effective premium pricing strategies.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5–8 years of B2B & B2C sales experience in specialty coffee, gourmet foods, premium fresh produce, FMCG, luxury retail, consumer goods ecosystems. .
  • Strong client acquisition, account management, and negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of supply chain, cold-chain logistics, and perishable product sales is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel across key markets as required.
