About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Sales & Marketing with a strong background in Steel, Ferro Alloys, Metals & Minerals Trading, Foundry, or Steel Raw Materials.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in sales, purchasing, trading and commercial activities, with a proven ability to negotiate deals, develop business relationships and contribute to profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and business partners.
• Identify new business opportunities in the Steel, Ferro Alloys, Metals & Minerals and Foundry sectors.
• Handle both buying and selling/trading activities.
• Source raw materials and negotiate with suppliers.
• Develop and manage customer accounts and sales opportunities.
• Negotiate commercial terms, prices, payment terms and contracts.
• Follow the complete sales/trading cycle from enquiry to deal finalization and delivery.
• Monitor market prices, competitors and industry trends.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, logistics and internal teams.
• Support business development and revenue growth.
• Monitor margins and profitability of deals.
• Take responsibility for P&L and commercial performance as required.
• Prepare sales/trading reports and provide market updates to management.

Candidate Profile

The candidate should have:

• Minimum 4 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience in Steel / Ferro Alloys / Metals & Minerals / Foundry / Raw Materials.
• Experience in Sales, Purchase, Trading or Commercial functions.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proven ability to finalize commercial deals.
• Experience managing both buying and selling activities.
• Understanding of pricing, margins and profitability.
• Experience with P&L responsibility is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of UAE/GCC markets and business practices.
• Currently located in Dubai, UAE.
• Indian candidates preferred.
