Hiring: Assistant Manager – Retail Operations

Furlenco is a different furniture company. We enable the urban Indian to live better today in their homes, by giving them award-winning furniture and home decor with a basket of access to rent, buy, sell and buy back.

All of our furniture is designed in-house by experts. We don't just give furniture. We provide decor, accessories and appliances as well. We have launched our first ever offline stores so that one can furnish their entire home, room or corner without traversing multiple stores or websites !

Location: Bangalore

We are looking for an execution-driven Assistant Manager – Retail Operations to manage and streamline operations across COCO (Company Owned & Company Operated) and Partner stores. This role will be responsible for MIS, store performance tracking, and cross-functional coordination to ensure consistency and growth across all retail touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end MIS for COCO and Partner stores

• Track daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs such as sales, walk-ins, conversion, ATV, and productivity

• Create store-wise and city-wise performance dashboards

• Identify gaps and share actionable insights to improve store performance

• Ensure data accuracy and reporting discipline

• Monitor daily store operations and ensure SOP adherence

• Conduct store audits (virtual/physical) covering store readiness, VM, hygiene, and branding

• Support store teams in resolving operational challenges

• Act as a bridge between Partner stores and internal teams

• Ensure alignment on sales processes, reporting, and brand guidelines

• Track Partner performance and highlight risks

• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and Tech teams

• Ensure smooth inventory movement, order processing, and campaign execution

• Track and close issues within defined timelines

• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements

• Support execution of campaigns, BTL activities, and store-level initiatives

• Drive store productivity and enhance customer experience

• Manage stakeholders across Store Managers, Partner Owners, and internal teams

• Ensure alignment on targets, execution, and reporting

• Escalate critical issues with solutions

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in Retail Operations / MIS / Backend roles

• Experience managing multiple stores or Partner networks preferred

• Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets

• Good presentation skills (PowerPoint / Google Slides)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication and follow-up skills

Preferred:

• Experience in retail / furniture / consumer durables

• Exposure to franchise or Partner-led retail models

• Familiarity with CRM tools and retail KPIs
