Assistant Manager - Retail Operation

Core Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal performance of MBOs across assigned territory.
• Plan & execute sales strategies to achieve targets
• Regular SIS visits to monitor merchandising, VM Execution, staff performance & adherence to brand standards.
• Drive secondary sales & manage sell through, stock turns.
• Act as the single point of contact between the brand & distributor.
• Ensure timely product dispatch, billing & replenishment.
• Monitor distributor stock levels, ageing & liquidation plans.
• Ensure compliance on credit terms, outstanding payments & claims.
• Review & track distributor performance metrics including primary & secondary sales.
• Conduct monthly/quarterly review meetings with distributors.
• Share regular market intelligence & consumer feedback for planning future collections.
• Support in sales forecasting & budgeting for Mbo channel.
• Coordinate training programs for Mbo staff on product knowledge, VM Standards & customer service.

Knowledge and skill set

• Strong understanding of retail operations in fashion apparels only.
• Proven ability in distributor management & sales planning.
• Excellent communication, negotiation & relationship management skills.
• Data driven approach with proficiency in MS excel & sales dashboard.

Experience

6-8 years of experience in Mbo sales operations with exposure to MBO & Distributor models.
