Assistant Manager/Research And Dev

Role Overview:

This role is focused on the design, development, analysis, and validation of power electronics systems and components, with a strong emphasis on innovation, regulatory compliance, and manufacturability. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of power supply topologies, semiconductor devices, and circuit design, along with hands-on experience in product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Circuit Design & Development:
• Design and implement analog and digital circuits that meet electrical, EMC, mechanical, thermal, and DFM/DFA requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies, SPICE simulations, prototyping, testing, and documentation for new designs.
• Technical Expertise in Power Electronics:
• Strong knowledge of power supply topologies and modern power semiconductor devices.
• Experience with loop design, gain and phase margin calculations, and stability analysis.
• Understanding of PCB layout requirements for high-performance power electronic systems.
• Compliance & Standards:
• Apply knowledge of regulatory requirements related to power supplies and UPS products (safety, EMC, etc.).
• Analyze compliance needs and incorporate them into design and testing.
• Component Specification & Testing:
• Select, qualify, and document necessary electronic components.
• Plan and support PCB assembly, subsystem, and system-level testing.
• Analysis & Validation:
• Perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Worst Case Analysis (WCA).
• Analyze circuit designs using simulation tools like SPICE.
• Manufacturing Support:
• Design and develop manufacturing test processes aligned with new product development.
• Ensure product quality and performance goals are met through rigorous testing.
• Training & Collaboration:
• Train technical support teams on new products and systems.
• Work cross-functionally with other engineering and manufacturing departments.
