Assistant Manager – Financial Analysis

Job Description

JLL is seeking an Assistant Manager – Financial Analysis to serve as a finance partner to our Foundational Technology group. JLL's Foundational organization provides enterprise technologies that enhance the productivity and happiness of JLL employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting financial reporting and analysis activities, preparing variance reports, assisting with budget preparation, and maintaining financial data accuracy. In this role, the successful candidate will need to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and the finance team to support operational objectives.

Job Responsibilities

Financial Analysis

  • Prepare standard financial reports and variance analyses
  • Support the compilation and analysis of financial and operational data
  • Assist in developing financial forecasts and annual budgets
  • Track performance data versus forecast, identifying variances for senior analyst review

Reporting

  • Prepare routine financial reports and dashboards for business leaders
  • Maintain existing reporting templates and KPIs
  • Execute established finance automation workflows
  • Document process steps and maintain user support materials

Teamwork

  • Support relationships with Foundational business leaders and their teams
  • Provide responsive customer service to business leadership and the finance team
  • Participate in knowledge sharing and process documentation
  • Collaborate with the finance team across time zones

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Minimum 6-10 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial analysis, or operations
  • Experience in Technology Finance is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication (both written and verbal) skills
  • Experience in developing budgets and forecasts
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, manage time effectively, and establish priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and changing team environment
  • Capability to make timely decisions that balance effectiveness with efficiency
  • Sense of urgency in driving solutions
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and accountable, with proficiency in Finance or Dashboard system applications (e.g. Oracle EPM, PAX, OneStream, PeopleSoft, PowerBI, Tableau)
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Comfortable working across time zones with global teams
