Job Description

Position Overview

We are looking for Assistant Manager role, focuses on leading an accounting or finance operations team with responsibilities across leadership, quality control, reporting, process improvement, and team development. Handling a team of management accounts, SLA, KPI, preparing financial reporting. Client management, proactive, positive attitude and having a very strong leadership skills

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage ensuring the timely completion of all deliverables with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Actively monitor team performance, set clear expectations, and ensure that deadlines and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Conduct detailed reviews of the work carried out by accountants, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, accuracy in reporting, and timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Identify any discrepancies or areas of improvement in the work and provide corrective guidance to maintain a high standard of output.
  • Develop and implement robust, efficient processes to streamline workflow and ensure operational effectiveness, addressing any existing bottlenecks.
  • Continuously evaluate processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, automation, and enhanced control measures to drive efficiency within the team.
  • Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial reports, ensuring all subsidiary data is accurately consolidated for corporate reporting.
  • Work closely with senior management to ensure that all necessary financial information is provided in a timely manner to support decision-making processes.
  • Ensure that the close process is completed in accurate and timely manner
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to SLA/KPI
  • Prepare the monthly ad-hoc analysis files as per the requirements
  • Provide year-end audit support.
  • Collaborate closely with team members, managers, and senior leadership to identify and implement process automation initiatives, aiming to increase efficiency and reduce manual workload.
  • Work in partnership with other departments to brainstorm and execute ideas related to process improvements, enhanced controls, and improved efficiencies across operations.
  • Leave Management of the team & Attendance Regularization Team Management & KPIs management
  • Manage the onboarding and training of new team members, ensuring they receive comprehensive training on systems, processes, and standards.
  • Create and execute structured training plans for the team, ensuring ongoing development and upskilling of team members to meet evolving business needs

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+years Proven experience in Management Account.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Leadership Skills

Work Model

· Location: Noida/Ahmedabad/Baroda

· Model: Hybrid/WFO

· Shift Timings: 12:30 PM to 10:00 PM IST / 1:30 PM to 11:00 PM IST
