Job Description

Your Work Environment How You'll Make An Impact

As an Assistant Manager-Quality, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, responsible extending testing support to new components/sources introduce in Lubrizol system. You would also be driving continuous improvements using Integrated management system framework and follow/establish procedures and guidelines to confirm quality of components; extending support to manage analytical instruments and related activities. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing, and enhance modern life. In this role, you will:

  • Perform QA activities in collaborative way.
  • Conduct characterization, evaluation of new products/components, this includes Lab blends and product stability study.
  • Establish new testing methods and provide training to all QA on procedures, work instructions and process.
  • Help to implement product integrity standards.
  • Support for Calibration of analytical instruments and standardization of volumetric solutions.
  • Product qualification reporting-locally and globally.
  • Drive IMS initiative related to reliability, efficiency, product quality, safety and minimize maintenance/operation cost.
  • Expertise in ISO 17025/NABL accreditation implementation
  • Perform QA specific procurement/billing and related activities.
  • Manage analytical instruments in working conditions.
  • Responsible for good housekeeping in laboratory and surroundings.
  • Experience in Handling of team of people
  • Support HSE goals in consistence and accelerating site journey to Zero Harm – Zero injury,

Preferred Qualifications That Drive You Forward

  • Minimum Postgraduate in Chemistry from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 12-15 years of experience in testing lubricants, additives, chemicals, preferably in MNC environment.
  • Sound knowledge of analytical testing instruments, wet analysis & experience in laboratory blending and Synthesis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. Experience of handling teams
  • Execution & supporting for other works in consultation with QA Manager.
  • Exposure to workplace management tools like 5S will be advantage
  • Should be flexible to work in shifts, on a need basis.
