Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, Proposal Writer!
In this role, you will not only craft compelling proposals and RFP responses but also leverage data-driven insights to improve proposal success rates and optimize content strategies. This role requires exceptional writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and present analytics to stakeholders.
You will also play a key role in managing proposal content libraries, and continuously improving proposal processes and tools.
Responsibilities
Develop, write, and edit high-quality proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and supporting documents.
Collaborate with sales, technical, and subject matter experts to gather accurate information.
Prepare and manage vendor onboarding documentation, ensuring all compliance forms are completed accurately and in a timely manner
Manage and respond to comprehensive questionnaires across IT security, DEI, ESG, and compliance, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational standards
Coordinate COI requests and support audits by providing complete and compliant documentation
Maintain a repository of reusable content and templates for efficiency.
Analyze proposal performance metrics (win/loss ratios, turnaround times, compliance scores) and provide actionable insights.
Use analytics to identify trends, improve proposal strategies, and enhance content effectiveness.
Prepare dashboards and reports for leadership on proposal success rates and pipeline health.
Conduct research on clients, competitors, and industry trends to strengthen proposal content.
Review and proofread documents for clarity, grammar, and consistency.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business Analytics, or related field.
Good years of experience in proposal writing, bid management, or similar roles preferably in IT services & consulting.
Strong understanding of RFP/RFI processes and proposal best practices.
Experience in two or more of the following industries: Financial Services, Technology, Communications, Healthcare and Life Sciences, Public Sector Services, Consumer Goods and Services, Industrial, Resources and Utilities.
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation and reporting.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) familiarity with analytics tools (Excel Pivot, Power BI, or similar) is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exposure to proposal analytics and performance dashboards.
