Assistant Manager Production

Company Description Processing Division - Shanthi Feeds Private Limited is a Chicken Processing Plant with the capacity of 1 to 1.2 Lakh birds per day. Located in Palani - Dindigul,, Tamil Nadu.

Role Description The Officer – Production is a full-time, on-site role based in Athimarathu valasu Near Palani responsible for overseeing day-to-day production operations. The Officer will supervise production staff, support training on processes and equipment, and assist in troubleshooting operational issues to minimize downtime and wastage. Daily tasks include recording production data, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating with quality control and maintenance teams, and helping implement best practices in manufacturing. The role requires a hands-on approach on the production floor and active participation in routine inspections, audits, and process optimization activities.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Manufacturing and Food Industry operations, including familiarity with Chicken production processes, equipment handling, and basic safety standards.
• Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control, including monitoring product specifications, conducting checks, and supporting corrective actions to maintain consistent output.
• Candidates should possess skills in Training, including the ability to guide production staff, explain standard operating procedures, and reinforce safe and efficient work practices.
• Candidates should possess skills in Research, including gathering data on production performance, supporting process improvement projects, and assisting in trial runs or new product initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in , Production, Food Technology, or related discipline is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and readiness to work in a plant environment with rotational or extended shifts as needed.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with supervisors, technicians, and support functions.
• Experience in Chicken processing industries will be Preferred.
