Maruti Suzuki India Limited subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation to produce automobiles in India, has completed construction of the Plant C, and started production from April 2021.

Maruti Suzuki India Limited Gujarat plant was established in March 2014, aiming to secure production ability in preparation for the automobile market growth in India, as well as for expansion of exports from India. Plant A started operating in February 2017, and Plant B and Powertrain Plant in January 2019. In October 2020, MSIL GJ became the fastest production site of Suzuki to achieve accumulated automobile production of 1 million units.

About the Role

The role involves working in the Automotive Paint Shop and processes, focusing on production and manufacturing engineering for paint shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of Automotive Paint Shop and processes.
• Working experience in Production Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering for Paint Shop equipment like Top coat booth, oven, sealer line and work area.
• Facility study and installation/modification for introduction of New model in Paint shop.
• Spec sheet making, equipment order, P&I drawings check, Installation & Punch point countermeasure.
• Prepare equipment installation and modification plan and schedule.
• Painting Process, Quality and appearance parameters knowledge.
• Paint material (Primer, Base, Clear, Thinners) knowledge.
• Knowledge of Auto CAD/ NX for drawing making.

Qualifications

• Preferred Age bracket: 26-30 Years
• Academic Background: B.Tech. – Mechanical/Electrical
• Experience: Preferable 6-8 Years

Required Skills

• Working experience in Automobile Paint Shop (preferably OEM).
• Experience of Paint shop Production Engineering/ Manufacturing Engineering.
