Assistant Manager Procurement Fintech Domain
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced procurement professional with a proven track record of driving strategic sourcing, vendor management, and cost optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, deep domain expertise, and the ability to manage complex procurement requirements across geographies, with a particular focus on the fintech sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead negotiations and manage contracts in alignment with business requirements.
- Apply deep expertise in RFI, RFQ, and Strategic Sourcing to identify and onboard the right vendors.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives by analyzing opportunities across categories and implementing savings strategies.
- Simplify complex procurement requirements by collaborating with business teams and sourcing vendors from the open market.
- Guide and mentor team members to ensure compliance with processes, timely documentation, and resolution of bottlenecks.
- Champion the adoption of new tools and technologies to enhance and fine-tune procurement processes.
- Coordinate and manage procurement requirements from multiple teams across diverse geographies.
- Ensure effective, clear, and timely communication with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Bring valuable exposure to fintech procurement, leveraging industry-specific knowledge to strengthen vendor partnerships.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in the procurement domain, with a strong background in strategic sourcing and vendor management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage global procurement operations.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience in fintech procurement is highly preferred.
