1. Digital Procurement & Data Analytics:
- UtilizeMaterial Requirements Planning (MRP)tools in ERP systems to ensure material availability.
- Upgradation & roadmap toIntegrated Business Planning (IBP)solutions for scenario planning
- Enhancement ofSRM portals (P2P/ASN)for seamless visibility of RMPM/FG status with automated reconciliation modules
- LeveragePower BIand other analytics tools to generate procurement reports, track supplier performance, and monitor cost trends.
- Support digital transformation initiatives such as automation in procurement workflows and supplier portals.
2. Procurement Strategy:
- Planning of raw materials, packaging materials, and indirect goods/services required for the business.
- Manage supplier relationships, including negotiations, contract management, and performance evaluations.
- Liaison with cross-functional teams for alternate vendor development, MOQ reduction, supplier proximity & CRM projects
3. Supplier Management & Negotiation:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery and reliability for in-house, 3P & P2P operations.
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop supplier risk management strategies and contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
4. Procurement Operations & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, ethical sourcing standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with internal departments to understand material and service requirements.
- Monitor and analyze procurement spend to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier performance metrics.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Work closely with supply chain, production, R&D, and finance teams to ensure procurement aligns with business needs.
- Support new product development (NPD) by sourcing innovative materials and packaging solutions.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehousing teams to ensure smooth inbound material flow.
- Engage in sustainability initiatives and ensure responsible sourcing practices.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on process improvement and operational excellence.
Skills:
- Proven track record of leading and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
