Job Description

As the Assistant Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process for all project- related materials, equipment, and services. Your role will be crucial in ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement, maintaining supplier relationships, and supporting the successful execution of our projects in the coworking industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies for project-related procurement activities.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and develop procurement plans aligned with project objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including issuing requests for proposals (RFPs), evaluating bids, and selecting vendors.
  • Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure adherence to agreed-upon terms and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and vendor information.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost reduction strategies without compromising quality or project timelines.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as project management, finance, and operations, to ensure effective communication and alignment of procurement activities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements related to procurement, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct periodic supplier evaluations and performance reviews to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and resolve any supplier-related issues or disputes.
  • Able to perform detailed rate analysis of the line items in Bill of Quantities.
  • Aware of the Current Market Pricing and prevailing market rates

Qualifications:

  • B-Tech (Electrical Or Civil) or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
  • In-depth understanding of sourcing strategies, negotiation techniques, and market analysis.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) are a plus.
