About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically competent Senior Engineer – PEX & Utility Systems to join our Solar Cell Manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Process Exhaust (PEX) systems, Acid Scrubbers, and utility operations within a high-tech manufacturing environment. The role involves project execution, utility validation, vendor coordination, commissioning, and maintenance of critical exhaust and environmental control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and manage Process Exhaust (PEX) and utility-related projects for solar cell manufacturing facilities.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of Process Exhaust Systems and Acid Scrubbers.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for material procurement, project execution, and technical support.
- Prepare and maintain validation documents, SOPs, protocols, technical reports, and utility records.
- Ensure smooth integration of manufacturing tools with exhaust systems and utility connection points.
- Monitor system performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
- Support troubleshooting and preventive maintenance activities to ensure maximum equipment uptime.
- Ensure compliance with EHS, safety, environmental, and statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during project planning, commissioning, and production ramp-up activities.
Qualifications
- B.Tech / B.E. or 3-Year Diploma in Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Experience:
- 2–4 years for B.E./B.Tech candidates
- 3–7 years for Diploma candidates
Preferred Experience & Technical Skills
- Experience in at least one Solar Cell Manufacturing Process Exhaust (PEX) project.
- Strong knowledge of Acid, Alkali, VOC, and General Exhaust systems.
- Hands-on experience in operation and maintenance of Scrubbers and Exhaust Systems.
- Familiarity with utility validation and documentation requirements.
- Understanding of process tool exhaust connections, hook-ups, and utility interfaces.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
- Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
