Job Title: Process Excellence- Assistant Manager (Lean Six Sigma)

Role Purpose
The Process Excellence Manager will be responsible for driving enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives through the deployment of
Lean and Six Sigma methodologies across operations and support functions. The role involves leading strategic improvement programs, mentoring certification projects (Yellow Belt / Green Belt), and delivering measurable improvements in cost, productivity, and quality.
The position requires strong analytical capability, stakeholder management, and hands-on project leadership experience in delivering measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC / DMADV) projects across business units.
- Identify process gaps, improvement opportunities, and risk areas through data-driven analysis.
- Drive measurable improvements in productivity, cost optimization, quality, and SLA adherence.
- Lead Kaizen initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Mentor and review Yellow Belt and Green Belt projects, ensuring successful completion.
- Conduct tollgate reviews and ensure adherence to Six Sigma standards and methodology.
- Track project benefits realization, savings validation, and sustainability plans.
- Develop and maintain project dashboards, MIS, and management control systems.
- Conduct Lean Six Sigma training sessions and awareness programs.
- Build internal capability and a quality-focused mindset across teams.
- Support development of training materials, case studies, and best practice repositories.
- Provide inputs for the organizational Quality Plan, including risk and opportunity identification.
- Establish metrics frameworks and performance monitoring systems.
- Support audit and compliance-related quality initiatives.
- Partner with Business Heads and functional leaders to align improvement initiatives with business strategy.
- Present project updates and business impact reports to senior leadership.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to enable enterprise-wide process excellence adoption.
Key Deliverables
- Successful completion of Lean/Six Sigma projects with validated financial impact.
- Improvement in operational KPIs such as productivity, cost efficiency, TAT, and quality metrics.
- Increased Yellow Belt and Green Belt certification pipeline.
- Implementation of structured MIS and process control mechanisms.
- Deployment of best practices across multiple processes and functions.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience
- 610 years of overall professional experience.
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Lean / Six Sigma project execution.
- Experience managing process improvement initiatives across operations or support functions.
- Exposure to mentoring Yellow Belt and Green Belt projects.
- Proven experience in a Process Excellence / Continuous Improvement role with measurable project outcomes.
Certifications
- Six Sigma Green Belt (Mandatory)
- Project Management certification or experience (Preferred / Added advantage)
