Job Title: Assistant Manager – PMO

Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – PMO(Project Management Operations) with exposure to Resource Management (RMG). The role will primarily focus on strengthening PMO governance, project tracking, and reporting, while supporting resource planning and allocation activities. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across functions.
Key Responsibilities:
PMO (Primary Focus):
- Drive PMO governance frameworks, processes, and best practices across projects
- Track project progress, milestones, risks, Invoicing and dependencies.
- Support project managers in project planning, scheduling, resourcing, and budgeting
- Prepare and publish periodic MIS reports, Financial Trackers, dashboards, and leadership updates
- Monitor project health including scope, timelines, cost, risks, and dependencies.
- Identify potential delivery risks early and drive mitigation plans
- Facilitate project reviews, status meetings, and stakeholder communications
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement PMO efficiencies
- Act as a central point of coordination between project teams, leadership, finance, and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate regular governance meetings, project reviews, and steering committees.
- Support decision-making with data-driven insights
RMG (Secondary Focus):
- Support resource planning, allocation, and utilization tracking
- Coordinate with business leaders and project managers for demand-supply alignment
- Maintain resource databases and ensure accurate reporting of utilization metrics
- Assist in workforce planning and forecasting activities
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of PMO frameworks and project lifecycle management
- Working knowledge of Resource Management / Workforce Planning
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA preferred)
Preferred Profile:
- Experience in IT / Consulting / Professional Services environment
- Strong attention to detail with a structured and process-driven approach
