Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Manager to serve as our Plant HR Head. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded HR professional with a strong focus on Industrial Relations and Statutory Compliances. You will be responsible for managing all HR functions at the plant level, from manpower and payroll administration to employee welfare and legal matters, ensuring a productive and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR & Manpower Management: Oversee all core HR Functions, including manpower management and training & development. You will be responsible for planning and executing HR strategies to support plant operations.
  • Industrial Relations & Employee Welfare: Manage Industrial Relations and Employee Welfare initiatives. This includes handling day-to-day employee grievances and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Compliance & Legal Matters: Ensure strict adherence to all Statutory Compliances. You will handle Legal Matters related to HR, as well as the administration of Contract Labour Management.
  • Administration: Manage Payroll Administration and contribute to overall Facility Management to ensure the plant's smooth operation.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar HR managerial role, preferably as a Plant HR Head.
  • In-depth knowledge of Industrial Relations, Statutory Compliances, and Contract Labour Management.
  • Experience in manpower management, payroll administration, and training & development.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Expertise in legal and compliance matters related to HR.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
