Role Description The Assistant Manager – Personal Loan is a full-time, on-site role based in Ballia. This role involves managing end-to-end personal loan processes, including customer acquisition, documentation, credit assessment support, and loan servicing coordination. The individual will monitor personal loan portfolios, track repayments, and ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include engaging with customers to understand their requirements, resolving service-related queries, and collaborating with branch teams to achieve sales and portfolio quality targets. The role also requires preparing periodic reports, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to process improvements for better customer experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Loan Servicing and Loans, with the ability to manage end-to-end personal loan processes efficiently.
  • Candidates should possess foundational Finance knowledge to understand products, credit parameters, and basic risk concepts.
  • Candidates should possess Portfolio Management skills to monitor loan performance, track delinquencies, and support portfolio health.
  • Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and deliver a positive customer experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in branch teams and engage with diverse customers.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic data analysis for reporting and documentation.
  • Prior experience in retail lending or NBFC/banking operations is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field is beneficial.
