- The Assistant Production Manager Painting is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling all surface preparation and coating activities. The role ensures that blasting and painting operations are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with technical specifications and industry standards
- Understand the Customers Monthly Schedule Prepare the Production Plan with resource planning ( Man / Machines / Material/ Method ) Meet Production Plan Vs Actual in line with Customers Monthly Schedule
- Strong Leadership role able to Build / Lead the Team of engineers / Supervisors / Permanent Contractual workers. Also he should have strong demanding approach from concerns departments for achieving KRA ( Key Result Areas )/ MOP ( Measure of Performance ) for delivering positive results in line with Organization Goal.
- Participation / Skills of troubleshooting Operational Issues
- Experience of Project Handling / Planning / execution required for Painting Related
- Participation in Reducing 7 WasteTo reduce cost of poor quality (COPQ) - Painting Related
- Work on Capacity Constraints Plan the actions for meeting the Production delivery
- To establish, maintain improve Painting systems documentations Paint Report / Daily Rework report / in process inspection report (Blasting /Primer/Painting report etc
- Identify the training Needs plan for Training for Painters and Inspectors Team
- Compliance to the customer audits findings.
- Safety Environmental Compliance Ensure strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety Environment) guidelines.
Monitor
- VOC emissions control
- Hazardous waste handling and disposal
Ensure blasting operations meet dust and noise control regulations.
- Quality Specification Compliance Ensure adherence to project specifications and standards such as NACE / SSPC
Plan And Monitor Inspection Hold Points, Including
- Surface profile checks
- DFT (Dry Film Thickness) measurements
Be knowledgeable in inspection instruments and testing methods.
- Monitor the cost parameters Labor cost /consumable cost Other Operational Expenses etc
- Initiate the actions towards continual improvement projects / kaizen/ 5S / Lean / Kanban / Process Motion Mapping / Reducing 7 wastes / Turtle Chart etc.
