The Assistant Manager Operations will support the VC Office in running academic and administrative processes smoothly across the university. The role requires strong technical skills, comfort with data, and the ability to manage and improve digital systems used in academic operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain academic technology platforms such as LMS, SIS, and workflow tools.
Ensure smooth functioning, user support, and system troubleshooting.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for upgrades or technical support.
Support academic processes across departments, ensuring timely execution of calendars, evaluations, and internal workflows.
Create and maintain SOPs for operational efficiency.
Track and document academic tasks and follow-ups.
Maintain datasets, dashboards, and reports for academic planning and decision-making.
Clean, organize, and analyse data to identify trends and insights.
Prepare periodic reports for leadership review.
Manage API integrations across platforms used for academics and administration.
Assist in testing, deployment, and troubleshooting of system integrations.
Work with teams to improve interoperability and user experience.
Experience & Skills:
Strong Python programming skills.
Comfort with AI tools, automations, and scripting.
Understanding of APIs and software integrations.
Strong analytical and data management skills.
Detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable working with multiple teams.
