Job Description

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the mechanical Balance of Plant (BOP) team within the Thermal Power Plant.
Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, and turbines.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure optimal performance and reliability of BOP systems.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute maintenance activities during scheduled outages.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization in BOP operations.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior mechanical engineers and technicians.
Collaborate with procurement and vendors to source spare parts and equipment as needed.
Prepare reports on equipment performance, maintenance activities, and downtime analysis.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in mechanical BOP systems.
