Role Description The Assistant Manager – Operations and Sales is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara. This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities related to flight bookings, ensuring processes run smoothly, accurately, and in line with service standards. The role includes managing and supporting a frontline team, monitoring performance metrics, resolving escalations, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows. The Assistant Manager will also drive sales initiatives, including converting leads, upselling relevant services, maintaining key customer relationships, and identifying opportunities to improve revenue and customer satisfaction. Daily tasks include tracking operational KPIs, preparing reports, refining standard operating procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement projects that enhance both operational efficiency and customer experience.
Qualifications

  • Strong Operations Management skills, including process oversight, workflow optimization, and team coordination.
  • Demonstrated Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction focus, with experience handling escalations and improving service quality.
  • Effective Communication abilities, both verbal and written, to interact with customers, team members, and leadership.
  • Solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, track KPIs, generate reports, and support data-driven decisions.
  • Prior experience in travel, airlines, online booking platforms, or a related service industry is preferred.
  • Proven people management or team lead experience with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop staff.
  • Comfort working with CRM tools, booking systems, and basic productivity software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to work on-site in Vadodara with a flexible approach to peak-hour or rotational schedules as needed.
