We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an Associate Manager to join the Operating Partnerships team in our Tax practice.

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

YOUR TEAM.

This position will support our Tax team and this team Prepares and or Review US Federal Income tax returns of Partnership/ Form 1065 (Operating Partnerships).

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

  • Review complex US federal and state tax returns prepared by Seniors, Associates and Experienced Associates, including partnership /Form 1065 returns (Operating Partnerships).
  • Ensure compliance with firm quality standards, tax regulations, and engagement-specific instructions, maintaining a high level of accuracy and consistency.
  • Identify technical issues, risks, and process inefficiencies; provide clear, actionable, and value-added review comments to enhance quality and team learning.
  • Manage day‑to‑day execution of assigned engagements or workstreams under manager oversight.
  • Coordinate workflow, timelines, and task allocation across seniors and associates.
  • Monitor progress against budgets and deadlines; proactively identify and flag risks related to capacity, quality, or timing.
  • Serve as the primary operational point of contact for US teams on assigned engagements.
  • Lead training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives to strengthen team capability in U.S. taxation and processes.

Your Experience.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong technical expertise in U.S. taxation and solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage deliverables, and collaborate effectively with U.S. stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to proactively identify and resolve risks and issues.
  • Ability to train, mentor, and develop team members in a structured and scalable manner.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in U.S. taxation
  • Experience with U.S. tax software such as CCH Axcess, Go-System, OneSource, ProSystem, and CCH Engagement/CaseWare
