Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager, based in Katghora. The Assistant Manager will oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance (O&M) of power plants, ensuring smooth functionality and efficiency. Responsibilities include planning, supervising scheduled maintenance activities, identifying and resolving operational challenges, coordinating with teams to execute EER&M (Energy Efficient Renovation & Modernization) projects, and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental standards. The role demands effective team leadership, regular reporting, and contribution to the continuous improvement of operational processes.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of power plant operations, maintenance, and Energy Efficient Renovation & Modernization (EER&M) solutions
- Excellent leadership, team management, and coordination skills
- Thorough understanding of safety, compliance, and environmental guidelines in power plant operations
- Technical expertise in diagnosing and resolving operational challenges in thermal power plants
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in power plant operation, maintenance, or renovation projects
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients, teams, and collaborators
