Job Description

MAJOR ACTIVITIES

Commodity Strategy & Panel Management
Help manage a competitive supplier base for BOP & Non-BOP commodities.
Support the development and execution of commodity strategies.
Assist in supplier panel updates and documentation for RSM, GD/GDD review.
Help with QCDDM assessments and support supplier sustainability evaluations.
Sourcing Management & Supplier Performance
Support NDA, RFQ, quote, and NRC processes per Nissan guidelines.
Assist in evaluating supplier performance and contribute to supplier nominations.
Ensure accurate documentation and approvals through NSC.
Help in RFQ evaluations and negotiations with suppliers.
Product Development Support
Support supplier inputs during design phases and assist in VT approvals.
Help process VT POs and coordinate development activities through LSPM/Buyer.
Monitor supplier capacity and assist in PSW sign-offs.
Contribute to securing timely PO releases and meeting development timelines.
QCDDM & Supplier Performance Management
Support negotiations with suppliers to meet QCDDM targets.
Assist in tracking QCDDM performance and implementing corrective actions.
Help address any supplier quality or performance issues.
People & Team Management
Assist LSPM and Buyer teams in executing sourcing plans and achieving goals.
Ensure team alignment with BOP & Non-BOP strategies and Renault-Nissan KPIs.
Foster teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Employee Development & Engagement
Assist in workforce planning and identify training needs.
Help implement training programs and support team development.
Participate in performance reviews and contribute to a positive work culture.
