Position Overview:
TheAssistant Manager - Talent Acquisitionwill be responsible for executing end-to-end recruitment for Blue Dart's Corporate Office and select critical regional roles across all employee bands. The role involves sourcing, screening, interview coordination, job postings, IJP management, vendor onboarding for IT contract staffing, and supporting smooth onboarding. The incumbent will work closely with the Manager - Talent Acquisition, business stakeholders, and regional HR teams to ensure timely and high quality hiring outcomes, maintain compliance, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
Job Purpose:
To manage and execute recruitment operations for corporate positions, HO roles, and critical region-specific roles while ensuring adherence to manpower plans, recruitment SLAs, TAT norms, and audit compliance. The role emphasizes sourcing efficiency, diversity hiring, process discipline, candidate experience, and accurate recruitment MIS.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
HO Hiring Execution
- Manage end to end hiring for all junior/middle management corporate office positions across all functions.
- Execute job postings for all HO vacancies and ensure timely updates.
- Coordinate interview panels, prepare interview schedules, and facilitate timely communication with candidates and stakeholders.
Critical Regional Hiring Support
- Support recruitment for select critical regional roles in collaboration with regional HR teams.
- Provide sourcing, screening, and coordination support as required.
Internal Job Posting (IJP) Management
- Consolidate all IJP requirements from regions and functions.
- Prepare and circulate the weekly IJP mailer every Friday.
Pre Joining Formalities & Onboarding
- Coordinate for background verification, medical checks, and document validation for new joiners.
- Coordinate for induction with TM Team.
- Prepare and circulate Welcome Announcements for all new joiners in the region/head office.
Diversity & PWD Hiring
- Drive and support hiring of Persons with Disabilities (PWD) across Blue Dart payroll and contract staffing.
- Contribute to improving organizational diversity representation (Women & PWD) in line with annual targets.
- Build and manage relationships with diversity-focused partners/agencies.
Vendor Management & IT Contract Hiring
- Manage vendor onboarding for Talent Acquisition, ensuring complete documentation and compliance.
- Oversee hiring of temporary/contract IT employees via approved vendor partners.
- Track hiring and extensions for IT contract resources and ensure vendor compliance with SLAs.
- Process monthly invoices for temporary/contract IT resources, ensuring accuracy, timely verification, and coordination with Finance for payment.
Employer Branding & Candidate Experience
- Ensure exceptional candidate experience from sourcing to onboarding.
- Maintain a strong communication loop with candidates and stakeholders.
TA Compliance & Audit Readiness
- Ensure 100% compliance with TA processes, documentation, and audit requirements (ISO, HURI, ICS, etc.).
- Maintain audit ready records and drive timely closure of audit observations.
Digital HR Transformation & Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement at least one improvement idea annually using automation, analytics, or First Choice (PBS/5S/VSM) practices.
- Contribute to digitizing and simplifying TA processes.
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain TA dashboards and reports on TAT, joining ratio, and other hiring metrics.
- Collate MIS from region teams and share consolidated updates with the Manager - Talent Acquisition.
- Track hiring status for HO roles, critical positions, PWD recruitment, IJPs, and contract staff.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education
- Essential: MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or a related field.
Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably in corporate hiring.
- Hands-on experience with ATS platforms and recruitment reporting.
Skills & Capabilities:

- Proficiency in sourcing platforms and ATS systems.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, onboarding formalities, and TA compliance.
- Strong coordination, scheduling, and documentation capability.
