Assistant Manager – Commute (Transport & Fleet Operations)

• Plan, schedule, and manage daily employee transport routes for optimal efficiency

• Ensure proper utilization of fleet vehicles and monitor route performance

• Oversee vehicle maintenance, repairs, fitness certifications, and roadworthiness compliance

• Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards

• Supervise, train, and manage drivers and transport staff including performance monitoring

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and organizational transport policies

• Act as primary contact for transport-related queries and operational coordination

• Coordinate with vendors and logistics partners for special transport requirements

• Monitor operational data to identify cost optimization and efficiency improvement opportunities

• Implement route optimization and transport management strategies

• Maintain incident reporting and manage escalation of critical transport issues

• Ensure SLA compliance between organization and client (including Amazon transport operations)

• Support risk management programs and safety audits for transport operations
