1. Transport Operations Management
- Oversee daily employee transportation operations (pickup & drop routes).
- Ensure all vehicles report on time and trips run as per schedule.
- Coordinate with transport vendors to ensure smooth execution of services.
- Optimize routes to reduce travel time and cost.
2. Vendor & Fleet Management
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and SLAs.
- Review vendor performance and escalate issues when needed.
- Ensure availability of adequate vehicles and drivers across shifts.
- Monitor vehicle health, compliance, insurance, and documentation.
3. Attendance, Rostering & Trip Planning
- Prepare daily transport rosters based on shift schedules.
- Work closely with HR/Workforce Management teams for attendance updates.
- Manage ad-hoc transport requests (late-night drops, weekend support, etc.).
4. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all safety protocols such as GPS tracking, panic buttons, and driver verification are implemented.
- Conduct periodic audits on driver behavior, vehicle fitness, and compliance with company policies.
- Ensure adherence to local transport regulations and company safety norms (especially for female employees).
5. Monitoring & Control
- Track vehicle movement through GPS dashboards or transport management systems.
- Respond to live transport issues (breakdowns, no-shows, traffic delays).
- Address employee queries and concerns related to transport.
6. Coordination & Communication
- Liaise with security, admin, HR, and shift managers.
- Communicate schedule changes, delays, or updates to employees.
- Handle escalations and resolve transport-related grievances.
7. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain MIS reports: trip logs, cost analysis, fuel usage, delays, utilization, and vendor performance.
- Prepare monthly transport cost reports for management review.
- Document incidents, complaints, and resolution timelines.
8. Cost Optimization
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through route optimization and efficient vendor management.
- Track and control transport budgets.
- Prevent misuse of transport services by enforcing policies.
9. Technology & System Handling
- Use Transport Management Systems (TMS) for scheduling and tracking.
- Manage database of employees, routes, shifts, and trip history.
- Coordinate with IT for system updates and troubleshooting.
10. Employee Experience & Service Quality
- Provide excellent customer service to employees using transport.
- Conduct periodic feedback surveys and improve transport experience.
- Ensure special care for high-priority passengers (female employees, new joiners, late-night shifts).
Additional Skills:
- Experience working on Technology tools like Moveinsync/ Routematic etc.
- Easy hands by experience with MS Excel & other MS Office tools.
- Ability to lead a team and work individually with assigned task.
- Always motivated to learn and work under tight schedule to come up with excellent results.
- Can develop effective public relations.
- Good Communication Skills.
