We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Assistant Manager - MIS & Statutory Reporting, Reporting to the Manager, this full-time and permanent position is based in Mumbai, India and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Global Service Centre and its growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Actively manage and update the global compliance portal, including creation, tracking, and closure of events.
- Support the Global Compliance Application team in maintaining accurate event workflows and ensuring timely completion.
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and reliability of all data within the portal.
- Liaise with cross-functional and global teams to gather requirements, resolve issues, and ensure smooth execution of compliance processes.
- Provide timely and effective responses to ad hoc requests from internal stakeholders and customers.
- Maintain documentation of processes, dashboards, and automation workflows.
- Identify opportunities to automate recurring business-as-usual (BAU) reports and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Develop automated reporting solutions using advanced Excel, Power BI, and other tools.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting quality, speed, and scalability.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards (Power BI / Excel) to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Prepare management reports, presentations, and executive summaries with strong data storytelling.
- Standardize reporting formats and templates for consistency across regions and functions.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, gaps, and actionable insights.
Key requirements:
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel (advanced), Power BI, and PowerPoint, with the ability to create impactful dashboards and presentations.
- Solid understanding of data management, automation tools, and reporting frameworks (e.g., SharePoint, MIS systems).
- Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into meaningful visual insights for decision-making.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working across global teams.
- Proven ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to define, track, and improve reporting KPIs (timeliness, accuracy, automation levels, etc.).
- Experience in process automation, dashboard development, and reporting optimization is critical.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand financial and operational metrics and link them to reporting outputs.
Experience & Background
- 4–6 years of experience in MIS, Reporting, Data Analytics, or Finance Analytics roles.
- Prior experience in Shared Services, Global Capability Centers (GCC), or similar environments preferred.
- Exposure to compliance processes, workflow tools, or global reporting environments is a strong advantage.
- Exposure to Lean / Six Sigma / process improvement methodologies is an added advantage.
- Experience with automation and data transformation tools (Power Automate, Power Query, VBA, or basic scripting such as Python) is highly desirable.
